APPEARANCE;
HEIGHT: 4.0 ft
WEIGHT:70 lbs.
Inari has long blue hair that easily stretches down to his lower back. He's quite small, though, and doesn't possess a battle-ready body. He has fair skin, dark eyes, and wears mostly loose fitting, non-shinobi clothing in all situations. He doesn't quite prefer shoes, so instead uses wrapping. He doesn't use too many weapons because he has no talent with them. He has a short bow, and some arrows to go with it, carries a few kunai, but otherwise his style of dress is extremely regular.
PERSONALITY;
Inari's life has been easy so far, so he hasn't had anything to gripe about. He still gripes, granted, cause he's a little shit, but it's the kind of griping of an upset kid for the most part.
He takes his turn and falls in line and doesn't much question authority. This is just how he was raised. He isn't a person yet in any real sense; rather, everything about how he behaves is a product of genetics: he was born with increased fearfulness of failure, decreased fearfulness of adventure, increased submissiveness, decreased patience. His proclivity towards meanness is down, towards expressing his opinion is down, towards emotion is up, towards thought is up, towards optimism is up, towards social interaction is down, down towards groups is down. For the most part, he is his own best friend: a loner by virtue of preference towards solo adventures either within the world or within his own mind.
Also of note would be that he has certain mental afflictions. He was unable to enter the academy because he simply couldn't bear the other children. Not because he was bullied or anything, but because he was too afraid. Also because he wasn't interested in being a shinobi. He still isn't. And he would like to rebel, but he can't; and perhaps these are the first stages in developing a conscious personality. But hidden in this is his second problem: he doesn't really know how to focus on things he isn't interested in, or in things that do interest him but that he's afraid of failing at. On the other hand, he can hyper-focus quite easily if interested in something, and sometimes on accident. Even if he's afraid to fail at something he'll often make it hobby and casually practice it where he can't be judged. And of course, there's a self-esteem problem hidden in there. Again, not because of bullying or anything, but simple genetics.
At the end of it all, Inari is a happy and optimistic kid who just so happens to lack confidence around other people, but who seems full of confidence when he's by himself, engaging in robust and complex internal dialogue even though he ends up being socially inept when communicating with other people is a matter of import.
BACKGROUND;
As a baby, Inari was made into the Jinchūriki of Kyūbi. However, at his parents' request, this information was kept from him. The idea was to offer him as best a childhood as possible to make up for sealing Kyūbi within him. The truth would be revealed once he "truly became a shinobi", but to his parents that may have meant something different from what the village intended.
His parents lived up to their promise. They gave him as best a life as they possibly could. They drilled the idea of ntrinsic human value into his mind. They built his self-esteem bit by bit. They gave him great amounts of affection even when he was being a twat, their "punishment" being a firm hug and constant "I-love-yous" until he fought away and ran off, only reprimanded later in the calm of emotional neutrality, but even then never truly punished: he was told that he was wrong and that his parents expected better and so he tried. And as far as he could tell he started to succeed.
They never directly trained him in combat just because he wouldn't pay attention long enough. Instead, his dad taught him how to hunt. Bow and arrow in hand, Inari killed his first deer when he was seven. After he shot it, his dad gave him a knife, told him to press his hands against the deer's chest to feel its heartbeat, and told him to stab it. Not to cut its throat, but to stab it multiple times (this was to avoid hesitation). Inari heard and felt the creature die, and his told him "this is death, the absence of life", and he pointed to Inari and said "your life is greater than any beasts; all of ours are". Inari later saw the fruits of his labor in a great dinner and thought that it was good. Any questions he had about his mixed feelings were answered. But he also came to understand that the life that he was going into was a death culture — one where his life wouldn't be valued by others in the way that it was valued by his parents. This later became a subconscious thread within his life, empowering his genetic predispositions in the process.
Eventually, the time came for Inari to become an academy student, but he didn't. He feared other people too much, and his problems with attention were much too present. It didn't take long for his teacher to recognize on that first day that Inari wasn't retaining information. After a short conversation with Inari's parents, Inari never showed up to the academy again. Another agreement was made so that Inari would be taught by his parents, who'd spent the last few years changing their profession to tutoring because they planned to make the appeal anyway, just not so soon. In the space of time from Inari's birth to when he first stepped foot into the academy, both parents developed a well-enough resume to be trusted with basic education. In particular, Inari's skill with the bow was a great selling point.
However, once Inari came under their care, they neglected his training in an attempt to use the technicalities of their agreements to extend Inari's life with them as much as possible. He learned the basic academy techniques, but beyond that, not much else. The one thing they did give him was greater independence to travel, especially to hunt or to practice with his bow, to keep his face and activity present within the village. As it happens, though, Inari used these times more so to adventure than anything else. His parents, of course, anticipated this because it was the plan all along.
When the time came for Inari to graduate, he did so; however, his results were notably below average. The village knows that the parents are trying to manipulate them, but what will come of it is a total unknown.

SPECIALIZATIONS
Kyūbi Jinchūriki
SKILL RANK: (E)
SKILL LEVEL DESCRIPTION: Booty Meat. He has no skills in this as his parents have preferred keeping him ignorant until he "truly becomes a shinobi", which has largely been honored. Now that he is a Genin, though, even though Inari still isn't a "true shinobi" yet, he's still an employed professional, and so he could actually end up getting the news whenever the higher-ups please.
NINJUTSU
SKILL LEVEL DESCRIPTION: Booty Meat. He has no ninjutsu skill to speak of.
TAIJUTSU
SKILL LEVEL DESCRIPTION: Booty Meat. He has no taijutsu skill to speak of.
GENJUTSU
SKILL LEVEL DESCRIPTION: Booty Meat. He has no genjutsu skill to speak of.

Inari the Talent-less | (E) - So his special ability is that he's talent-less. He has no great potential in any major shinobi combat skill. It might be accurate to say that he isn't meant to be a shinobi at all. The benefit of this ability, though, is that he can easily become an inspiration to other people, increasing their ability to fight through fatigue, increasing their willpower, and potentially granting a temporary letter increase to their specialties when in a pinch.
