Hyuuga
"See through the illusions and see reality with clear vision."

Hierarchy
The Hyuuga, even before they scattered, had no hierarchy. Each member is equal, regardless of village, and are raised knowing they decide their path, noone else can. There is not status, no leaders, no main or branch families, or other such illusions are present in the clan to cloud the member's minds.
History
The Hyuuga clan, back when it could still be seen as one, was a clan within Hi no Kuni. The clan was almost constantly at war, not because they were blood thirsty, but because of a over protectiveness of their home land. There they had an estate that rivaled the size of a city, and every member there was a clan member. Anyone who even took a step on the land was removed, and any who resisted were treated as though they had committed an act of war.
This became a problem as position of their home was directly in the middle of important roads that cut travel time in half if gone through. As such the Hyuuga's very existence became an inconvenience for every person on Hi no Kuni, and so a mission was given to any ninja: to remove the Hyuuga's estate.
The invasion of the estate was a massacre on both sites, with Hyuuga civilians being killed like flies, while those who were shinobi managed to kill tens of the enemies before they themselves were killed. However as the Hyuuga had always been a very individualistic society, the Hyuuga shinobi force was very divided. Some stayed to keep their land, others fled for their own sake. Some protected their loved ones and loved ones alone while others tried to save as many as they could. Whatever path they chose, in the end the land was destroyed, and the clan was forced to scatter.
Those who decided to move on with their lives and start a new history for their clan lived and managed to make new Hyuuga housings in nearly every country. Those who tried to rebuild what they had, or go for vengeance however soon died, and now years later, the remaining Hyuuga view the event as a battle that could have been avoided but choose to not let it weigh them down. Just as before, it is up to the individual Hyuuga what they wish to do with their lives, and whether they wish to change and learn to accept others, or continue to protect what is theirs at all costs.

Abilities
Byakugan [All Hyuuga]
The Byakugan, the All Seeing White Eye. When dormant, members of the Hyuuga Clans will have light lavender irises with no visible pupil, or at least it is the most common. Some members, depending on the amount of blood they have that is of Hyuuga heritage, may have different colored eyes, although non have pupils.
When active, the pupils become more distinct and the veins near their temples bulge outwards, and this is ture regardless of what percentage of the blood is Hyuuga. The color also becomes somewhat paler.
The Byakugan, unlike most Dojutsu, has multiple sub categories of specializations to which the user has access to. The first is the Eye of Distance. This is what allows a Hyuuga to see through objects and see at least fifty meters away. This is also what gives them their 360 degree spherical vision, with the exception of the blind spot on the back of the neck above the first thoracic vertebra. While the Eye of Distance can see through anything, it should be noted concentrated chakra constructs like barriers behave like water does to the normal eye. Then comes the Eye of Precision. This allows Byakugan users to see the chakra network, see things they can see in detail, and of course their over all control of their own tenketsu.
Gentle Fist
The Gentle Fist (柔拳, Jūken) is a form of hand-to-hand combat used by members of the Hyūga clan. It inflicts internal damage through attacking the body's Chakra Pathway System, subsequently injuring organs which are closely intertwined with the area of the network which has been struck. To do this, the user surgically injects a certain amount of their own chakra into the opponent's chakra pathway system, causing damage to surrounding organs due to their proximity to the chakra circulatory system. Even the slightest tap can cause severe internal damage, hence the name "gentle" fist.
By employing the use of the Byakugan they can target the tenketsu, thus enhancing the havoc and control a Gentle Fist practitioner can impose upon an opponent's chakra network. These 361 nodes are key gate-keeping interceptions in the chakra circulatory network, thus forcibly opening or sealing them in whatever manner the Gentle Fist user sees fit, is a powerful tactical option to have. The affected person's chakra flow can either be increased or disrupted completely, preventing them from using techniques. More skilled users of the Eye of Precision can turn their own chakra points on and off however, so this style not useful against other skilled Hyuuga.
Any Gentle Fist technique can be used without the Byakugan, but will be unable to do damage to the tenketsu.
